Joshua Milo wants to make jazz fusion fun – less brainy, but all the more thrilling, humorous, and danceable. You can hear his spirit of musical discovery in every note: at times it feels like racing through a Mario Kart track, other times like wandering through a dusty desert landscape. One moment, the stage crackles with explosive energy; the next, a near-meditative calm settles in. Brimming with interaction – both within the band and with the audience – each concert becomes a shared experience, full of unexpected twists and collective euphoria.
Joshua’s 7-piece live band features some of the finest jazz-fusion musicians Germany has to offer. After countless shows across they’re home country and Europe, the ensemble has grown into a tight-knit musical unit.
In addition to his skills as a keyboardist, the Berlin-based musician is also a producer and content creator. His unconventional YouTube creations range from orchestral pieces built from emojis to songs made entirely from random objects in his room. He’s also won remix contests held by artists like Andrew Huang and Davie504. More recently, he’s been sharing entertainingly edited concert clips on TikTok and Instagram, several of which have gone viral with millions of views. On top of that, he’s the creative mind and producer behind the funk-fusion band TILAR.
